Our trip to Animal Crackers by Anas

we went with Mr. Robinson by van to Animal Crackers, where met Sarah. She talked about her life, when she moved to Carbondel and then a bout her business. In 2001 she open places to take care of animals, especially dog a since that time the place has become popular in Carbondale and she showed us the place where she keeps the dogs . Of course, the were inside the cage because some dogs were big and I am scared of big dogs .I told her that we asked her more questions about adogs, and her answes were interesting. For example, the dogs know human feelings, the owner gives up, dogs can betuught how to find people, druges, etc.

We studied many thing in animal crackers for example, dogs know human feelings, understand commands and dog learn to find people and bomds, and help people.
I'm very thankful teacher ,MR. ROBINSON, for driving us there. I think animals are very kind and important for humans. In the world we only think about ourseles . If you go out with an animal, as you regard their life as human beings life !
I hope anmals and humans live forever together in friendship in the world.

*As for people in the countries still eat dog ! You are "murderers". Stop this act immediately!!!!!!........And forever.............

Our Trip to Animal Crackers by Mahboob, Mohammed

On Mar-28-2006 we went to Animal crackers and we met Sarah, the owner. She is also the dog trainer and told us a lot about dogs. Some of the things we learned are dogs can know the human feeling, understand commands, and are smart. In addition, dogs can be taught how to fine people if there something happened like in the case of a building fallsdwon, drugs that are at the airport for example, roads, etc. Then we went with her to where she cares for dogs ( Doggy Day Care ), and there we saw all the dogs playing and enjoying each other when their owner are at work and cannot take care of them. Finally, we drove back with our teacher Mr.Robinson to SIU and we were so happy about learning about dogs.

A trip to Animal Crackers by Rade

3/28 was a good day and our tescher, Mr. Robinson, took us to Animal Crackers. The dog obedience trainer, Saraln, also graduated from SIUC. Her shop is affiliated with a pet care section of goddy day care and grooming, is within five minutes distance from campus.
First, Saraln introduced some of the dog's characteristics to us like smart and friendly. Dogs know human's feelings and could placify your emotions like when you are sad. They are brave to protect their owner's from attack and have senstive noses to find some foods by their particular smell after finishing training. They can help police detect drugs and is more reliable than machine detectors sometimes.
Additionally, in her experience, dogs are very smart and they can follow their owner's order by training unless the dog-owner gives it up. However, it is necessary to teach the dog-owner how to deal with their pooch. Generally, the ratio is 10% versus 90% and it takes about 8*9 weeks to complete this work. We only spent 40 minutes at Animal Crackers but it was a rare & interesting experience for us.

Today we learned many things from Sarah, who is a dog trainer in Animal Crackers. First, I know dogs are smart. They can know human feelings. Second, after training, they can understand commands, like "sit","down" or "free dog". Third, dogs learn to find people, drugs, bombs, etc. At last, Sarah told us that trainers sometimes have to do dogowner-training 90% of the time, and dog training 10% of the time.

Animal Cracker ~ BY Carol

Sarah is a dog obedience trainer. She knows a lot of things about training dogs. She thinks every dog can be trained unless the owners give up. They always know human feelings. They're always sensitive. Sarah trains dogs to understand her commands, for example " sit "," down ","free dog ". Dogs are always very smart. They smell people, dog, emotions, blood, etc. If someone is lost, dogs can smell them. Dogs always protect their masters when they are in danger. This trip let us know about dogs.
