The Bad Flight

My first day in the us was a very bad day. In the airport in Washington, DC, I waited for flight to St. Louis. 24 hours before my flight I confirmed my flight, but the woman at the gate told me after she opened the gate, please wait. All the passengers went in the airplane!!!. then I asked her what abut me? She told me I am sure your seat is canceled. Because the airplane is very heavy. Then the captain cancelled seats because of. she gave me a new reservation after 24 hours. This day was a very hard day for me.

The garden

My first visited many garden in the US second I arrive to Carbondale. I saw many people play with children and saw lakes. Very beautiful. My favorite garden is evergreen and many people like it. Next, I live in evergreen Terrace. There are always people in the garden and children. When you see it you will feel happy. Because it is natural in the world. At last, I think it is the best garden in Carbondale.

MY BAD DAY

My first day in United States was a very bad day. I come to United States in winter. It was very cold and rainy. My clothes soaking water. After I finished the procedure the airport, I didn’t have a plan for My hotel .the driver taxi spoke a different Language. He couldn’t under stand what I meant. I spent more time and money .In that Day I was very tired. This Day was a very headache.

MY DREAM DAY

My dream is to come to America to study. Now I already arrive America. When I first see something in my dream, America is the same. There are many people and beautiful building in America. I am a little excited and very happy .I know that will improve my English ability very quickly. That make me so happy I remember I reached my place to live at 3 oclock at night . It was very black, but my heart was light. I know from now on I will enter another world is dream life.

My First Day

My first day in the United States was very happy . I woke up at 6:00 am. I took a shower, I did have class this day. I ate my breakfast, then my brother took me , and we went to visit the city, and went shopping. This day I visited many stores ands streets. Finally we went to the Chinese restaurant, I ate Chinese food. This day was a very happy day for me.

FIRST DAY IN U.S

My first day in the United States, I was a little nervous. When I arrived in L.A.X, I have to transfer planes. But, I couldn’t understand English very much. Someone told me that I have to go outside and I tried to find another building to transfer. Then, I went outside and started to find it. At last, I found it. At that time I felt very lucky. Then, I arrived in St. Louis, and my friend picked me up and took me to Carbondale. As for my first day in U.S, it was a lucky day.

MY FIRST DAY

My first day in United Status was a very surprising day. I spoke Korean until then, but I had to speak English in the United States. So, it was so hard for me to communicate with others in English. I met and made American friends. My wife and I got to SIU University and then we were surprised, because SIU was a big University, like a big city. I also met new friends from different countries, and new teachers. Next, I found many wild animals and no mountains in Carbondale. This city was peaceful and beautiful and everybody was so nice to my wife and me. My first day was a very memorable day for me.

Using Computers in CESL

Now we use computers to:
check email or to find something
chat friends and family and to do my work
email and use MSN

We will use computers to:
do everything like work and study
make a game and do my job and make a lot of money
do homework, use MSN and email

We want to learn:
spelling, reading, writing, and how to find something
grammar from computers
how to type and find information online

We think CESL students should:
study and do all their homework
use computers to write, listen, and use Mac OSX
use computers to read and type
